Beautiful Bellsmyre
Bellsmyre Development Trust had identified a need to develop opportunities for improving the health and wellbeing of the areas’ residents through the improvement of its various environmental resources. A key aspect of this is positively using the communal landscape to improve the village for everyone.
Our proposals include seating/bespoke signage for each of the gateways into Bellsmyre. The aim of the signage is to raise the profile of Bellsmyre by reinforcing the threshold between Dumbarton and Bellsmyre. As well as providing wayfinding and signage at these points, they also perform a role as furniture, allowing each of these points to become spaces within which people can pause and socialise.
