Perth Dental Centre
erz worked with Archial Architects on this major new dental facility on the outskirts of Perth. erz were involved in the project from the outset, including input to the siting of the building.
erz developed the detailed design for the car park area and pedestrian circulation spaces around the building. The car park is conceived as a graphic plane that responds to and extends the language of the highly patterned facade of the building. It is innovatively detailed in order to achieve this relationship and creates a striking setting to the building.
erz also designed the courtyard at the core of the building. This space acts as a break out space for staff and patients, offering an alternative environment to the clinics. The courtyard is conceived as a peaceful space containing a variety of different planting types, and a single, long bright red bench that responds to the building elevation and provides a visual focal point.
