There are eleven hectares of remarkable historic landscape associated with the David Livingstone Birthplace Museum. Within the landscape of Livingstone’s boyhood, on the edge of the upper Clyde, we have created natural play areas, riverside trails, suites of signage, and most recently a sensitive reworking of the spaces in and around the historic tenement where Livingstone was born.
