Erz were commissioned by West Dumbartonshire Environment Trust to re-design and develop a run down community greenspace at Haldane. Due to the constraints of a tight timescale, the intervention focussed on planted works and restoration of existing surfaces, with hard works minimised. A seated social area forms a focal point whilst a further variety of spaces have been better defined through linear and grid tree planting, hedge planting and an undulating wildflower meadow area. The resultant solution creates a more diverse public greenspace. The design was completed on site in May 2011.
