erz closely with Page/Park architects to evolve the concept and urban strategy for a new university campus in central Glasgow. The proposed campus is focused around a terraced learning landscape stepping down to the river. The scheme evolved from the concept of unpacking the university activities into the landscape spaces and creating a fluid and inviting transition between indoor and outdoor space. A series of glass pavilions for working and exhibition are scattered through the terraced landscape of woodland blocks and water treatment beds. Outdoor teaching, demonstration and exhibition spaces create an accessible public expression of the activity of the university.
